IDDBA Names Paul Ziemnisky New CEO

Madison, Wisconsin - The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) is welcoming Paul Ziemnisky as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

He takes on the role Sept. 8, following the departure of Bill Haaf, who left the association earlier this year to join FMI — The Food Industry Association as vice president of fresh foods.

In his new position, Ziemnisky will lead IDDBA's overall strategy and focus on increasing value for members.

His responsibilities will also include supporting innovation, expanding the association's industry reach and overseeing its major annual event.

The IDDBA's flagship event is scheduled to take place in Atlanta in 2027.

Ziemnisky brings more than a decade of experience in the dairy and consumer products industries.

He joins IDDBA from Dairy Management Inc., where he spent 11 years and most recently served as group executive vice president of health and wellness, insights and innovation.

He also held the role of executive vice president of global innovation partnerships.

Before joining Dairy Management Inc., Ziemnisky served as vice president and general manager of consumer-packaged goods at Oil-Dri Corporation of America.

His earlier career includes marketing and brand management positions with Jarden Corp., Rust-Oleum, Kraft Foods Group, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

During his time at Kraft Foods, he worked on innovation for well-known brands including Kraft Natural Cheese, Velveeta, Tombstone and DiGiorno.

His background gives him experience across product development, marketing, innovation, and brand growth.

IDDBA leadership says Ziemnisky's mix of food industry knowledge, and business experience makes him well suited for the role.

The association expects his leadership to help members respond to changes in the marketplace.

As Chief Executive Officer, Ziemnisky will focus on helping the association deliver useful education, industry insights and experiences while supporting the continued growth of the dairy, deli and bakery sectors.
