CFS Appoints Mark Cornthwaite as Product Manager

Urbandale, Iowa - Camlin Fine Sciences has appointed Mark Cornthwaite as product manager for its shelf-life solutions platform in North America.

The company says the move supports its continued growth strategy and strengthens its focus on customer support and portfolio development across the region.

In his new position, Cornthwaite will help guide the company’s antioxidant and antimicrobial product portfolio throughout North America.

He will work closely with teams in sales, technical services, marketing, and operations to align product strategies with customer needs and market opportunities.

The role also supports the company’s efforts to expand the value and reach of its shelf-life solutions platform.

CFS leaders say the company continues focusing on improving support for customers while building stronger product offerings for food manufacturers and bakery businesses.

The shelf-life solutions platform plays an important role in helping customers improve food freshness, product quality, and stability across different food applications.

“As we continue to grow, we’re focused on making it easier for our customers to succeed,” said Jennifer Igou, president of CFS North America. “That starts with clarity in where we play, how we support customers and how our portfolio delivers value. This role helps strengthen that focus across our shelf life solutions platform.”

Cornthwaite brings more than 15 years of experience in the food ingredients industry.

His background includes product management, commercial strategy, and portfolio development across several food applications.

Industry leaders believe his experience will help support future innovation and growth for the company’s ingredient solutions business.

“I’m excited to join the CFS North America team at a time of strong growth for Camlin Fine Sciences,” said Cornthwaite. “There’s a solid foundation already in place, and I’m looking forward to working across teams to build on that momentum while bringing more focus and direction to the portfolio.”

CFS continues expanding its ingredient solutions and strengthening its support for food manufacturers throughout North America as demand grows for shelf-life improvement and food quality solutions.
