ABA Welcomes Chris Greiner to Leadership Team

Washington, D.C. - The American Bakers Association (ABA) welcomes Chris Greiner as its new Vice President of membership and growth.

In this leadership role, he focuses on strengthening member engagement, expanding membership opportunities, and supporting the association’s long-term goals for the commercial baking industry.

Greiner brings strong experience in association leadership and business development.

Before joining ABA, he spent nearly five years with the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW).

Most recently, he served as Vice President of corporate development, where he led programs that supported membership growth, business development, and commercial strategy.

During his time at NAW, Greiner helped introduce new membership models and supported the launch of products and initiatives related to legal, policy, and business development efforts.

He also worked closely with industry leaders to create data-driven solutions that helped businesses improve growth and performance.

Earlier in his career, Greiner served as director of member engagement and senior adviser to the executive vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

He also gained retail experience while working as a buyer at Herrington Catalog.

“Delivering an exceptional experience for our members is at the heart of ABA’s Higher Level Impact strategic goal,” said Eric Dell, president and chief executive officer of the ABA. “Chris brings a proven track record of building strong relationships, developing innovative membership strategies, and creating lasting value for organizations. His leadership will help us elevate how we serve our members through a personalized experience that best serves their businesses while continuing to strengthen ABA as the leading voice for the commercial baking industry.”

Greiner holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree in management from La Salle University.
