United States - Valeo Foods Group is moving forward with plans to acquire Prestige 96, a well-known bakery and snack manufacturer based in Bulgaria.
This step supports Valeo’s ongoing strategy to grow its presence in the European sweet baked goods market.
Prestige 96 operates from Veliko Tarnovo and employs around 450 people.
The company offers a wide range of products, including biscuits, wafers, cookies, and cake bars.
Its brand lineup includes popular names such as Prestige, Oh La La, Wellness, and Waffi.
These brands are well established in the local market and have strong relationships with retailers.
By adding Prestige 96 to its portfolio, Valeo aims to expand its reach in Bulgaria and increase cross-selling opportunities.
The deal will also help Valeo enter new snack categories and strengthen its export capabilities across Europe and beyond.

Once completed, it will mark Valeo’s eighth acquisition since 2022, showing its strong focus on expanding through well-known local brands.
