Rise Baking Co. Expands Innovation with New Atlanta Hub

Minneapolis, Minnesota - Rise Baking Co. is relocating its innovation center from Tucker, Georgia, to a new location in uptown Atlanta.

The company says the move is part of its long-term strategy to create a stronger workplace that supports innovation, teamwork, and customer collaboration.

The new Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence will be in a 47-acre mixed-use development.

Rise Baking says the modern facility is designed to bring employees, research teams, and customers together in a space that encourages new ideas and stronger partnerships.

“The current innovation center in Tucker has been an important part of our history, and we’re grateful for the foundation it provided,” said Mark McNeil, chief executive officer of Rise Baking. “As we look ahead, this move allows us to evolve our environment in a way that better supports our people, our customers and how we work together. It’s an investment in building a true Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed, not only in terms of our capabilities, but also in providing an environment where our people can connect, collaborate and thrive.”

The new center will feature more than 30,000 square feet of office and research and development space.

It will support product development, customer engagement, and commercial activities while helping the company respond more effectively to changing market needs.

Rise Baking confirms that its manufacturing facilities in Tucker and Douglasville, Georgia, will continue normal operations.

The relocation only affects the innovation center and does not change the company’s production footprint.

Founded in 2013, Rise Baking supplies a wide range of bakery products to in-store bakeries and foodservice customers across the United States.

Its customers include national grocery chains, convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, and mass merchandisers.

The company produces cakes, cookies, muffins, icings, pies, and other baked goods under well-known brands such as Brill, South Coast Baking, Table Talk, Best Maid, Henry & Henry, and Bakestone Brothers.
