New York’s City Bakery Expanding to Detroit, MI

City Bakery located in New York City, founded in 1990 is expanding. They will be opening their new location in Detroit, Michigan, inside Detroit s Fisher Building.

The set-up for the cafe is being driven by a Detroit-based developer The Platform, who has been working to get the cafe up and running by fall 2017. The Platform is also helping construct a full commissary kitchen to be utilized by City Bakery and other restaurants.

City Bakery will be open daily serving breakfast and lunch, until late afternoon. They will continue to offer their specialty pretzel croissant, and well known hot chocolate along with featured pastries, desserts and a full lunch menu consisting of sandwiches, salads, pizza, and other hot foods throughout the Midwest.
