Ardent Mills, a premier flour-milling and ingredient manufacturer, releases a new selection of specialty ingredients for foodservice and baking distributors.

With the increase in demand for gluten-free, plant based, and specialty ingredients, the new selection of products by Ardent Mills allows foodservice and baking distributors help their customers remain competitive.

"We designed this new line to help support our foodservice customers' innovation and help them stay ahead in an ever-changing market. We're excited to offer them profitable ingredient solutions that help meet consumer demand for plant-based and specialty ingredients," says Goldberg.

Ardent Mills strategic growth plan is to invest more into specialty ingredients capabilities, and create a more diverse portfolio, leading to the release of the new selection of ingredients.

The new selection of ingredients include chickpea, gluten-free, spelt and quinoa ingredients.

The new ingredients are available in a variety of sizes, the gluten-free flour blends are available in 5-lb standup resealable bags and a 25-lb bags. The quinoa is available in 4-lb resealable bags and 25-lb bags in different types that include Colorado White, Colorado Tricolor, Organic South American; White, Black Red, and Tricolor. The chickpea and spelt flour blends are available in 25-lb and 50-lb bags.

The resalable bags are designed to increase longer shelf time, reduce waste, and protect cross contamination within restaurants for back-of-house operations.
