Decorating with Cake Stickers

  • 28 June 2016

Cake stickers just might be the next big trend in cake decorating. From custom pictures to transfers, adding cake stickers to your cake decorating allows you to offer more variety to your customers when it comes to cake decorating.

A New York City based chef named Stephanie Nass, better known as “Chefanie” has added some new life to cake stickers with her edible creations.

Chef Nass’ cake stickers are edible sheets that come in various patterns and colors that stick right to frosted cakes. These cake stickers allow you to decorate cakes with intricate designs and are only half the work.

“Chefanie Sheets” are the cake stickers designed by Chef Stephanie. The sheets are vegan, kosher, and gluten-free, made of tapioca starch, corn syrup solids, sugar and food coloring – and completely edible!

The cake stickers easily adhere to the frosting on a cake and can be trimmed with scissors to ensure a perfect fit. Once the cake is decorated, it can be put in the fridge to cool to allow for clean slicing.

Chefanie Sheets are currently available in five different patterns and an option to order custom made sheets. The sheets are available in either a small or large size with each order containing a ruler, sheets and set of instructions.

Incorporating your own version of cake stickers is a great option to introduce into your bakery to provide your customers with more customizable options. As cake stickers can cut down some of your intricate decorating, they can help increase your production, allowing you to sell more cakes.
