Owner of Carlo’s Bakery and star of TLC’s hit TV show Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, plans to open three new bake shops in 2017. The addition of these new stores will bring the total store locations in the US to 18.

Carlo’s Bakery first opened in 1910 in Hoboken, NJ. Buddy Valastro’s father, Bartolo Valastro Sr., purchased the business in 1964 and since then it has been run by the family with Buddy Valastro now heading up the bakery as master baker.

The new bake shops will be situated in Frisco, TX, The Woodlands, TX, and Atlanta, GA, with the Frisco location opening February 4, 2017. In addition, Buddy Valastro is also scouting out potential new locations in other major American cities, such as Chicago, Orlando, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Connecticut, and New York.

The recent Carlo’s Bakery store opening in Dallas, TX drew the company’s largest crowds with more than 5,000 people attending the grand opening last March.
