Wendy's Bakery Business Acquired by East Balt Bakery

An agreement has been made between The Wendy’s Co. and East Salt Bakeries regarding the purchase of the fast-food chain’s bakery business, The New Bakery Co. Although the terms of the transaction haven’t been disclosed, East Sale Bakeries, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois will be acquiring Wendy’s bakery business.

 

 

East Balt Bakeries and has been providing service to food companies such as McDonald’s, for more than 50 years. The company has more than 20 bakeries in 12 countries and is no stranger to supplying restaurants with quality products. East Belt South Africa provides services to KFS South Africa, and East Balt Korea works with Outback Steak House Korea. The company has a portfolio that includes soft rolls, English muffins, bagels and hard roles.

President and CEO of Wendy’s Emil Brolick believes the company has made the right choice selling the business to an industry-leading company such as East Balt.
