Union Station Hosted Lady M Cake Pop Up Boutique

International confections specialist Lady M Cake Boutique is bringing its Boutique Pop-Up to Washington, DC. The pop up shop was on for 1 weekend only, and historic halls of Union Station hosted the award winning Mille Crepes.

The company sells Signature Mille Crepes which is composed of nearly two dozen paper thin handmade crepes which is delicately layered with light pastry cream and the top is gently caramelized till golden. The two of the top sellers crepe cakes and green tree version powdered with matcha were available during the two-day event. The Green Tea Mille Crepes is infused and carefully powdered with fine imported matcha.

Located in the center of the capital at Union Station, the ultimate goal for Lady M Cake Boutique was to open a brick and mortar location in 2018, assuming the demand is there. United Station welcomes every year almost 42 million visitors and boast two levels of shopping and easy travel access points. The company stated of being excited to bring the Mille Crepes to one of the capital’s liveliest destinations.

The CEO of Lady M Ken Romaniszyn says that, “We hope to use this boutique pop-up event to speak to the locals and get their suggestions.”

Lady M Cake follows Laduree, the popular French bakery had opened a similar pop up at Union Station and paved the way to success.
