Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp. could become part of Hostess Brands. The Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada based company makes thaw-and-serve baked goods, including the famous Original Two-Bite Brownies, Two-Bite Coffee Cakes, and Butter Tarts. The company was founded in 1989 and markets its products throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, Europe, Australia, and Japan.



Give and Go Prepared Foods is currently owned by Omers Private Equity, and it’s reported that the company is exploring a sale, and that Hostess is interested. Earlier this month, Reuters published an article about the potential acquisition, which stated the deal could be worth as much as $800 million.

The article discusses the potential tie between the popular Twinkie and Two-Bite Brownies, and also touched on the idea that Hostess Brands’ has been facing increased competition from the Canadian company.
