Arcadia Biosciences and Three Farm Daughters Announce Strategic Business Venture

Davis, California — Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. and Three Farm Daughters, LLLP have just announced that they will form a strategic business venture. The later is a female-owned consumer food company, and the aim of the partnership is to develop and market Three Farm Daughters food products using Arcadia’s patented non-GMO GoodWheat technology.

Arcadia’s GoodWheat can contain up to 10 times the dietary fiber of traditional wheat, and up to 65% less allergenic gluten. On top of that the specialty wheat can contain nearly 30% fewer calories per serving than traditional wheat.

The companies have agreed as part of the partnership, to develop Three Farm Daughters-branded food products such as flour, pastas and crackers which will all utilize the enhanced nutrition of GoodWheat ingredients. The enhanced products will be sold in grocery stores nationwide, on Amazon and through the company’s website: www.threefarmdaughters.com.

Three Farm Daughters expects to launch its refined, non-enriched wheat flour – their first product -- in September.

The partnership comes after Arcadia announced it plans to bring its GoodWheat portfolio of specialty wheat ingredients to China and Israel through a separate collaboration with Corner Foods.
